So I decided to create this post to help you know how one is different from other.
The fact that you are here reading this, shows somewhere you too need clarity on it.
In this article, we will explore the distinctions between these concepts to help you as a coach to establish a strong online presence and attract your ideal clients.
Firstly, let's recap what a niche is. If you have gone through my 3 pillars to , I couldn’t stress more on the importance of having a strong niche.

A niche is the specific market segment that you serve.

In a layman's language it is a subset of a market.
In my words
‘I help this kind of person solve that kind of problem’
For example, if you are a coach who helps people with their fitness, you don't have a niche. Your niche should be more specific, such as
weight loss coach for new moms,
helping women above 40(kind of person), to combat their menopause(kind of problem), or
weightloss coach for working professional( kind of person),looking to lose weight using vegan diet (kind of problem)
Next, we have the client avatar, which is another term for your ideal customer or client persona.
This involves breaking down your target audience into
1) demographics, such as age, location, income, marital status, and children.
2)Psychographics also play a significant role in developing your client avatar, such as 3)Identifying their core values, fears, desires, self-image, and limiting beliefs.
4)Day in the life of our niche:This is a quick summary of how the average day looks like for our niche. This is a really important and helpful exercise as it allows us to answer the questions ahead. Here is how to answer this question
5)Psychographics and motivations:Now it’s time to list what matters the most to our niche and what really inspires them? Why do they need more health
6)Needs or problems:What challenges or problems are they facing daily? What are the various obstacles in their way preventing from realising more wealth
7)Behaviour:How are they currently solving their problems? What services are they using? How often do they use those services or advice? How often do they use the same? What’s wrong with those services?
8)Influence — Who influences these individuals? What books do they read? Who do they follow online? Any forums or communities that they’re a part of online/offline? What activities or events do these individuals participate in that not everybody else does?
Without knowing your client avatar, it's challenging to produce content that resonates with your target audience and attracts potential clients.

Now where Branding is concerned. Its much more than logo & brand colors
Branding is how you present yourself to the world and how others perceive you.Any interaction in any form is branding & an opportunity to create impression. So lets understand the various touchpoints
1)Your environment(office,storefront,restaurant..etc): companies can create an office space that reinforces their brand identity and values, creating a more cohesive and impactful branding experience for employees and visitors alike.
2)Your packaging, print, signage & stationery: If you're selling physical products, your packaging is an essential touchpoint. Your packaging should be consistent with your branding and provide a memorable experience for the customer.
3)Your website:From the design to the content, your website should be consistent with your branding and provide a seamless user experience. It's essential to create a website that reflects your brand's personality and values
4)Advertising:Whether it's online or offline advertising, your brand messaging should be consistent across all channels. Your ads should reflect your brand's personality and values, and they should be targeted towards your ideal customer
4)Social media:Your social media profiles should reflect your brand's personality and values, and your content should be consistent with your overall brand messaging. ,content marketing & email signatures
5)Your sales, customer service, and employee consumer interactions:Every interaction with a customer service representative is a touchpoint. Your customer service team should be knowledgeable about your brand and be able to provide a positive experience for your customers.
By focusing on each touchpoint, you can create a consistent and memorable brand experience for your customers. A strong brand will help you stand out from the competition, build trust with your audience, and create loyal customers.

Finally, positioning is what you do to separate yourself from the competition within your niche. Positioning is essential because the coaching industry is becoming increasingly competitive, and clients are harder to come by. Your positioning strategy should include highlighting your unique selling proposition, sharing your years of experience, or identifying a specific gap in the market that you can fill. For this you need to do a thorough research on burning problem/strong desire of your niche.
Like burning problem of my clients i.e health coaches is to get clients consistently.
In conclusion, understanding the differences between your niche, client avatar, branding, and positioning is crucial for establishing a strong online presence and attracting your ideal clients. By developing a clear understanding of these concepts and implementing them consistently, you can establish yourself as an authority in your niche and become a full-practice coach.
